Feathered Curtain
Feather Theater stood proud, its structure resembling a magnificent peacock. The billowing curtains at the entrance were a dazzling turquoise, and golden lights sparkled like stars in the twilight. Max Rumble led his friends, Ellie Banana and Sammy Bright, into the theater.
"Isn't it beautiful?" Ellie exclaimed, her brown eyes wide with excitement.
"Yeah, it's like stepping into a dream," Sammy murmured, his blue eyes hidden behind his glasses.
Max, always observant, noticed a peculiar-looking door behind the stage. "Let's check that out," he suggested, curiosity lighting up his deep-set green eyes.
Pushing open the door, they discovered a dusty old room filled with all sorts of props and costumes. But one thing stood out sharply – an ancient, elaborately stitched quilt folded neatly in a corner. "Wow, look at this quilt," Max said, approaching it.
"It's so old and beautiful," Ellie whispered, her fingers tracing the delicate patterns.
"I wonder why it's here," Sammy added thoughtfully, adjusting his glasses.
As they touched the quilt together, it began to float gently in the air. Gasps filled the room as they watched in astonishment. The quilt floated higher and higher, revealing a shimmering glow from beneath.
"This is amazing!" Ellie giggled, breaking the silence.
Max felt a mixture of excitement and responsibility. "We have to figure out what's going on with this quilt," he declared, his green eyes reflecting the quilt's glow.
Floating Secrets
"Look!" Ellie pointed as the quilt floated higher, revealing an inscription shimmering in golden threads.
Sammy adjusted his glasses. "It's writing! But what does it say?"
Max squinted at the glowing letters. "It's a riddle, I think. 'When autumn leaves fall and shadows grow tall, seek the garden where veggies enchant all.'"
"A garden of enchanted vegetables? That sounds amazing!" Ellie said delightedly.
Max nodded, determined. "We need to solve this riddle before fall ends and find that garden."
As they thought deeply, Sammy suggested taking a break. They sat on the stage, watching the quilt float gracefully. Max felt a sense of camaraderie. "We'll figure it out together," he assured.
