A Loaf of Trouble

In the bustling streets of London, where red double-decker buses roared past and Big Ben watched over the city, a boy named Allen darted through the crowd. His red hair a striking contrast to his worn-out clothes, Allen's blue eyes sparkled with determination. Hunger gnawed at his stomach, forcing him to make a daring move.

"Stop, thief!" roared the bakery owner as Allen clutched a stolen loaf of bread. Despite the chaos, Allen's kind-hearted nature shone through his swift and agile evasion, showing his readiness for the unknown adventures ahead.

A Fateful Encounter

Allen dashed into a narrow alley, the bakery owner’s shouts echoing behind him. Panting, he took shelter in the shadows, took a deep bite of the stolen bread, and felt relief wash over him.

“Hey, boy, share some of that,” came a gruff voice. Allen jumped, nearly dropping his precious loaf.

A scruffy man with grey hair and sharp eyes stepped into view. “Name’s Byron. You’ve got a nice haul there.”

Reluctantly, Allen broke the bread in half and handed a piece to Byron. The man nodded in approval. “Good lad. Bet you didn’t know, but these alleys hold secrets. Hidden treasures. Care to join me in finding them?”

Allen’s eyes lit up with curiosity and excitement. “Really? What kind of treasures?”
