Whispers of the Unseen
The mist hung low over Camelot, draping the stone towers of the castle in a veil of early morning mystery. Birds, sleepy and disoriented, flitted in the gray gloom, their chirps sharp in the crisp air.
Merlin, barely awake, rubbed his bleary eyes as he stumbled through the stone corridors. "I swear,“ he muttered to himself, "a wizard needs more rest than this."
He pushed open the heavy door to the courtyard. The cool breeze hit his face, waking him further. But something else—an unfamiliar tingling sensation—made him pause.
In the courtyard, just above the dew-laden grass, danced three glowing entities, each no larger than a hand. They flitted and flickered, casting a dance of shimmering colors all around. Surrounded by a soft, luminescent glow, they radiated a kind of... desperation.
Merlin squinted, his curiosity piqued. "Well, you're certainly not from around here," he called out softly.
One of the creatures flitted closer, its glow pulsing. Though it spoke no words, Merlin understood. They needed help, and they needed it fast.
The Whisper of the Cosmos
The three glowing entities flickered like the end of a candle's wick. Merlin leaned closer, his eyes wide, as he tried to understand the unspoken words vibrating in the air. The gentle pulses of light seemed to whisper tales of distant worlds beyond the sky.
"Who are you?" Merlin asked softly, though he sensed he already knew.
The entities, shimmering like little pieces of the Milky Way, communicated through emotions and images. Merlin saw flashes of a vast universe and felt their anguish. A deep, dark force sprawled through the cosmos, threatening their world with its sinister grip. He gasped, understanding what was at stake.
"You need help," Merlin concluded, eyes narrowing with resolve. It was clear—these creatures were not simply magical; they hailed from beyond the stars. To help them, he must journey further than he'd ever imagined. But who would believe such a story? "Arthur must know," he whispered to himself.
Feeling the weight of the cosmos on his shoulders, Merlin turned toward the castle. Would Arthur understand the need to unite worlds, even those unseen?
