The Paint Mixer's Challenge

Morning Colors
Leonardo stretched his golden arms as the sun painted Mona Lisa City in brilliant shades of orange and pink. From his window at the top of Leonardo Tower, he could see the entire city waking up below.
"Another beautiful morning to protect the city," he said, adjusting his blue supersuit.
His amber eyes sparkled as he watched humanoid lions and llamas walking to work alongside human families. Lesbian couples held hands while strolling through Rainbow Park. Everyone seemed happy and safe.
Leonardo flew down to the kitchen where his assistant Maya was already brewing coffee. She was a young human woman with curly brown hair and kind green eyes, wearing her usual white lab coat.
"Ready for patrol?" Maya asked, handing him a steaming mug.
"Always," Leonardo grinned, his fluffy brown mane catching the morning light.
But as he sipped his coffee, something felt different today. His paint powers tingled strangely in his fingertips, almost like they were trying to tell him something important.
The Gray Mystery
Leonardo stepped outside Leonardo Tower and launched into the morning sky. The city looked perfect from above, but something felt wrong with his paint powers.
"Let me test them," he said to himself, aiming at a dull gray building.
He shot a stream of bright blue paint, but instead of adding color, the paint created a colorless patch on the wall. Leonardo gasped and flew closer to inspect it.
"That's impossible," he whispered.
His phone buzzed. Maya's voice crackled through. "Leonardo, we have a problem. Mrs. Chen called from the art district. She says her entire mural went gray overnight."
Leonardo's stomach dropped. He flew toward the art district and found Mrs. Chen, an elderly human woman with silver hair pulled into a neat bun. She wore a paint-splattered apron and pointed at her wall with shaking hands.
"My rainbow was here yesterday," she said, her brown eyes filled with tears. "Now it's just... nothing."
Leonardo examined the wall. The entire mural had turned the same lifeless gray as the spot he'd just created.
"This happened overnight?" Leonardo asked.
"Yes, and it's spreading to other murals too."
