Cho and the Puzzle of Big Town
Listen to audiobook
The Humming Streets
Big Town buzzed with life. The towering skyscrapers, the busy streets, and the vibrant lights filled Cho with excitement. "This is going to be our best adventure yet, Barkley!" Cho exclaimed, his 7-year-old eyes shining with joy.
Barkley, his loyal dog with fluffy white fur and big brown eyes, wagged his tail. "Woof!"
Cho adjusted his small backpack and looked around. People bustled past, each one a mystery. Cho felt his curiosity ignite. "Let's explore!"
As they wandered through a narrow alley, Cho caught sight of something hidden behind a dumpster. "What is that?" he wondered aloud and knelt to explore. It was an old leather jacket, worn and dusty.
"Woof!” Barkley barked.
“I wonder who left it here?” Cho mused, slipping the jacket into his backpack. They continued, leaving the alley behind. Ahead was the detective agency “The Eagle Eye,” where their new adventure awaited.
Cho glanced at Barkley and smiled. "We've got a new mystery, pal. Let's find out what this city has in store for us."
Jacket Trouble
Cho and Barkley stepped into the bustling detective agency. The aroma of coffee filled the air. "Welcome to The Eagle Eye!" Mr. Eagle greeted them with a smile. He was an elderly man with a grey beard, thin-rimmed glasses, and a long brown coat.
Mr. Eagle beckoned Cho closer. "We've got a mystery on our hands. Fruits are disappearing from all over Big Town," he said seriously.
Cho's eyes widened. "That's strange! Who would take the fruits?"
"That's for you to find out," Mr. Eagle answered. "Start with the fruit market."
Cho nodded eagerly. "Let's go, Barkley! Adventure awaits!"
On their way, they saw a street performer juggling. Cho paused, admiring the act.
"Look, Barkley! Maybe one day we'll juggle mysteries just like that," Cho said, dreaming big. With new determination, they hurried to the fruit market.
