The Shard in the Sheep Pen
In the southern outskirts of Meadowtropolis, inside the tranquil Sheep Pen of Solitude, the Ewe and her three super lambs tended to their daily routines. Spotting the sun casting playful shadows, young Lily—the lamb in light blue—squatted, curious about a twinkle in the hay.
"What's that, Lily?" asked her sister Ivy, her blue-green uniform catching the afternoon glow.
Lily lifted a dusty shard. "It's blue pottery, like from Grandma's tales!"
Their mother, clad in her sleek blue super suit, approached. Her eyes sparkled with warmth. "A shard, you say? We'll clean it straight away." She marveled, secretly wondering about its secrets.
But for now, the promise of twilight tickled their wool, leaving them dreaming of hidden truths.
The Gleam Beyond
By sunset, the cozy family room inside the Sheep Pen of Solitude brimmed with an air of anticipation. The Ewe, alongside her daughters, surrounded the ancient blue pottery shard on the rustic wooden table. A medley of cleaning brushes and sponges awaited.
"Let me take the first turn!" Ivy insisted, her blue-green uniform matching her eyes' lively glint.
"No, me first!" Daisy, wearing the deeper blue gear, countered with a laugh, friendly rivalry thick in her tone.
Settling the dispute with gentle authority, their mother handed a soft brush to Lily. "Let's take it slowly, with care."
As the sisters worked together, the shard revealed faint, intricate lines etched onto its surface.
A soft purr erupted from behind—a small distraction. Whiskers, the family's fluff-tail-tabby, joined the circle, sniffing with deep intrigue.
Meanwhile, unseen by them, a distant visitor lurked in the shadows outside—a figure named Cobalt, whose eyes eagerly scanned from across the quiet barn. What he sought in this reconnaissance was yet veiled in mystery.
