In the heart of Super Cat City’s south end, CBC HQ hummed with energy. Crayon Lioness was perched on a desk, pencil in paw, stirring up curious sketches.

The sleek Crayon Lioness flicked her tail, leaning closer. "What if it’s not just the usual everyday glum but something more sinister? Maybe someone wants folks to... I don't know, squabble and gripe rather than unite."

"You’re onto something," Crayon Lion replied, getting that familiar spark of determination in his eyes. "Let’s dig around. We’ll scout the city, track this negativity, and solve its mystery."

Whispers in the Alley

Crayon Lioness and Crayon Lion padded silently through the busy streets of Super Cat City, their paws brushing against the cobbled roads. Each step taking them deeper into this symphony of noise and colors.

“Let’s check out the underpass,” the Lioness suggested, her eyes twinkling with purpose. “I heard there's been more bickering there than usual.”

Crayon Lion nodded, his tail flicking behind him. “Sounds like a plan.”

As they approached the dimly-lit alley that snaked under the city, they could almost feel the air crackling with tension. Shopkeepers and kids were squabbling over trivial things—a misplaced coin, a bumped shoulder, nothing substantial, but the arguments seemed to feed off the surroundings.

“Do you see what I see?” Crayon Lion whispered, pointing his paw toward a humanoid cat with shaggy fur who was lurking in the shadows, creating little sparks of discord wherever it went.

“That’s our negativity-spreader,” hissed the Lioness thoughtfully, her gaze narrowing. “We need to understand this creature, why it’s driving everyone apart.”
