A Whiff of Starlight

In a cozy house with yellow walls and a red roof, May giggled, reaching for a butterfly outside. Her mom gently changed her diaper. Suddenly, the family cat meowed anxiously by the window. "What's wrong, kitty?" May's mom wondered, peeking out to find a twinkling star missing from the sky.

“Where's the star, Mommy?” May's eyes sparkled with wonder.

"Hmm," her mom replied, "Maybe it's playing hide and seek. What do you think?"

May giggled and waved her tiny hand. A wisp of stardust fluttered by.
