The Pink Promise

Yuki adjusted her scissor-shaped hairpins and checked her pink nail polish one more time. The morning sun streamed through the windows of her magical salon in Nakaibito village, making her purple eyes sparkle with excitement.

"Today's the day!" she announced to her friends Maki and Yuko, who were arranging their hairdressing tools. "We're finally opening our salon to help everyone in the village look their best!"

Maki giggled as she polished her silver scissors. "I can't wait to see our first customers."

Yuko nodded eagerly, her own magical scissors glinting in the sunlight. "We've practiced so much. Nothing can go wrong!"

Outside, the peaceful village hummed with its usual morning activities. Birds chirped happily, and flowers bloomed in perfect rows along the cobblestone paths.

But across town, five boys with incredibly long, tangled hair were about to discover something that would change their day completely. Their parents had made appointments they knew nothing about yet.

The Door Bursts Open

The salon door burst open with such force that Maki's scissors clattered to the floor. Five boys stumbled inside, their parents pushing them forward with firm hands on their shoulders.

"We need haircuts," announced Mrs. Tanaka, gripping her son Ren's arm. "These boys have been avoiding scissors for months."

Yuki's purple eyes widened as she took in the sight. All five boys had hair so long it covered their eyes completely. Bangs hung like curtains, and their shaggy locks reached their shoulders. Haruto tried to back toward the door, but his mother blocked his path.

"Please sit down," Yuki said gently, gesturing to the pink salon chairs.

"No!" Kenji shouted, his voice muffled behind his hair. "We don't want haircuts!"

Riku wrapped his arms around himself. "The scissors will hurt us!"

Hiroto started crying, though his tears were hidden beneath his bangs.

The parents exchanged tired glances. "People keep mistaking them for girls," Mr. Sato explained. "They refuse to let anyone near their hair."

Yuki picked up her magical scissors, and all five boys screamed at once.
