Pink Clouds and Party Dreams

Sierra bounced on her fluffy pink paws as she gazed around Birthday Party Land. The clouds beneath her feet felt soft and squishy, painted in the most beautiful shade of cotton candy pink she had ever seen. Colorful balloons danced in the gentle breeze, their ribbons trailing like streamers across the sky.

"This is the best birthday ever!" Sierra barked with joy, her curly fur bouncing with each excited hop.

Rainbow-frosted cakes sat on cloud tables all around her, each one more spectacular than the last. Some had spinning sugar flowers, others sparkled with edible glitter. Her nose twitched at the sweet vanilla and chocolate scents floating through the air.

She trotted toward the nearest cake, her tail wagging furiously. But as she got closer, something seemed... different. The cake looked smaller than before.

The Missing Slice Mystery

Sierra padded closer to examine the cake. A whole slice was definitely missing! Chocolate crumbs scattered across the pink cloud table told the story.

"Hey there, little pup!" chirped a voice above her.

Sierra looked up to see a tiny hummingbird hovering near the balloons. Her iridescent green feathers sparkled in the cloudy light.

"I'm Ruby," the hummingbird said, zipping down to perch on Sierra's fluffy pink ear. "I saw what happened to your cake!"

"You did?" Sierra's tail wagged hopefully.

"A sneaky fox came by while you were looking at the balloons. He gobbled up that slice in two bites!"

Sierra gasped. More cakes around Birthday Party Land looked smaller too. Some had missing corners, others had entire layers gone.
