First Glances
At Hogwarts, the excitement was as thick as the swirling morning mist. Ginny Weasley, with her bright green eyes and fiery hair, stood at the entrance to the Great Hall, taking in the buzz and chatter.
“Hey, Ginny! Ready for breakfast?” called her brother Ron, beckoning her to join him.
“In a minute,” Ginny replied, her eyes drifting across the room.
There he was, Harry Potter, sitting among his friends. His tousled black hair seemed even more unruly today. Ginny’s heart did a little flip. She adjusted her Hogwarts robes, adding a stylish twist that was uniquely her.
Harry looked up, and their eyes locked. Ginny felt a warm blush on her cheeks and quickly looked away.
“What’s up with you?” Ron asked, catching the exchange.
“Nothing,” she mumbled, though her heart told a different tale.
As she made her way to the Gryffindor table, Ginny couldn’t help but wonder if Harry felt the same spark when their gazes met.
The Meadow's Secret
The courtyard at Hogwarts was like a magical oasis, flowers swaying gently as the sun peeked over the castle walls. Ginny found herself standing at its heart, eyes wide at the fluttering spectacle of butterflies painting the air with vibrant hues. She took a breath, the sweet scent of blooms filling her senses.
Harry appeared from around the ivy-covered archway, his curious gaze landing on Ginny. Her heart skipped, but she played it cool, casually admiring the butterflies. Harry stopped beside her, their shoulders almost brushing.
"Aren't they amazing?" Harry said, nodding to the dancing butterflies.
Ginny nodded, a smile escaping her lips, "Yeah, they're like living rainbows."
Eager to impress, she took a step forward, hoping to gracefully twirl among the butterflies. Instead, her foot caught on an uneven patch, and she stumbled.
Harry reached out, steadying her. Laughter erupted between them, echoing around the courtyard.
"Graceful," Harry teased, his eyes twinkling.
Ginny laughed, her cheeks glowing, "Well, at least it got your attention." She felt a small triumph in their shared moment.
