Whispers in Numbers

Sunshine stood in her favorite corner of the math classroom at Redleaf School, tapping her foot with a soft, rhythmic beat. The room was filled with soft, morning light streaming through arched windows, making everything seem inviting and calm.

She wore a bright, multicolored shirt that matched her cheerful, outgoing nature. Yet, math always felt tricky, like a puzzle missing its pieces.

Today, something whispered to her—a voice almost hidden beneath the hum of focused students. It came from a dusty, old calculator on a shelf. She picked it up, her fingers tracing over its worn buttons.

"Hello," Sunshine giggled, feeling silly. As she touched it, the calculator seemed to brighten, its buttons warming under her touch. Numbers floated gently in the air before her, swirling and forming playful patterns that told stories only she could see.

She smiled, a sense of wonder dawning in her eyes.

Whisper of Trouble

The calculator hummed softly, whispering secrets only Sunshine could hear. She pressed more buttons, and numbers swirled like a lively dance. But these weren’t just random figures.

“We need to find out more,” she whispered, tracing her finger over the calculator’s surface.

Suddenly, the numbers formed a pattern.

“Hmm...” she thought aloud, captivated by the glowing digits that seemed to buzz with urgency.

They formed a map-like shape, tracing their way around until one phrase stood out: ‘Danger to Redleaf.’

Sunshine’s heart raced. She glanced around the empty classroom, the reality sinking in: Her school was in trouble.

A dusty wind swept through, scattering papers with it.

“I have to solve this,” she resolved, her hands firmly gripping the calculator.

With newfound determination, Sunshine left the classroom, a plan brewing in her mind.

She had to figure out what this threat was—and fast.
