The Forgotten Scroll of Super City
Listen to audiobook
Out of the Blue
In the southern outskirts of Super City, the Creative Fortress bustled with activity. Creator, with his short brown hair and piercing blue eyes, stood amidst the chaos, directing the renovation. The man in his black and blue uniform was in his element, creating art with a flick of his hand.
"Watch out, Prisma!" Creator called as a stack of canvases wobbled dangerously near his teammate.
Prisma, with her vibrant green hair and sharp hazel eyes, nimbly caught them. "Thanks, Creator!"
As they continued working, a loose brick fell from the wall, revealing a hidden compartment. Creator's eyes sparkled as he retrieved an ancient scroll.
"Looks like we've found something interesting," he mused aloud.
Ancient Lines and Modern Rivals
As Creator unraveled the ancient scroll, he noticed faint, almost invisible lines crisscrossing the parchment. "These lines," he murmured thoughtfully, "they seem to form a map of sorts."
Prisma leaned in, her hazel eyes squinting to catch a glimpse. "Do you think it leads to the treasure mentioned in the legends?"
"Only one way to find out," Creator said, his voice filled with determination. He tapped his smart-glasses, activating their enhanced vision mode to analyze the lines further.
But before they could delve any deeper, the fortress door swung open. A shadowy figure stepped in, followed by a small entourage. It was Enigma, Creator's long-time rival.
"Creator, still chasing dreams, I see," she sneered, her green eyes glinting with mischief.
Creator frowned but remained composed. "What brings you here, Enigma?"
"Oh, just a little competition," she replied, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "I assume that scroll has caught your fancy?"
"Maybe," Creator replied, folding the parchment carefully. "But this is our find, Enigma."
Enigma raised an eyebrow and smirked. "How about a truce? We work together until we find it. Then, may the best team win."
Creator's team exchanged uneasy glances, but he nodded. "Fine. Truce."
But deep down, he knew that Enigma's truce was as stable as a house of cards. Their next move had to be carefully calculated.
