Morning Colors

Super Crayon Princess stretched her arms as sunlight streamed through the tall windows of Crayon Castle. The morning air smelled like fresh wax and creativity. She loved starting each day in her art studio, where rainbow-colored walls sparkled with crayon dust.

"Good morning, Princess!" chirped Sketch, her pet hamster, who lived in a tiny house made of purple crayon shavings. His whiskers twitched as he sniffed the air.

"Something's different today," she said, walking to her easel. Her brown hair caught the light as she reached for her favorite red crayon from the wooden box on her desk.

The crayon felt lighter than usual. She held it up to examine it more closely. The tip looked oddly pale, almost transparent.

"That's strange," she murmured, frowning behind her purple mask. She tried drawing a simple heart on her canvas, but only a faint pink line appeared instead of the bright red she expected.

Sketch scurried up her blue sleeve, his tiny claws gripping the fabric. "Princess, look at my house!"

She gasped. The purple crayon shavings were turning white before her eyes.

The White Warning

Super Crayon Princess ran down the winding stairs of Crayon Castle, her purple cape flowing behind her. Sketch clung to her shoulder, his tiny claws digging into the blue fabric of her super suit.

"We need to check the art supplies room," she said, pushing open the heavy oak door.

The sight inside made her gasp. Hundreds of crayon boxes lined the shelves, but every single crayon had turned completely white. The room looked like a winter wonderland made of wax.

"Princess! Princess!" A high voice squeaked from the corner. A small green parrot with bright orange wings perched on an empty easel, flapping frantically. "Terrible news from the marketplace!"

"Polly? What's wrong?" Super Crayon Princess had never seen the castle's messenger parrot so upset.

"The artists can't paint! The children can't draw! Every crayon in Artwork Kingdom has lost its color!" Polly's feathers ruffled with worry. "People are crying in the streets!"

Super Crayon Princess felt her stomach drop. This wasn't just happening at the castle. The entire kingdom was losing its creativity.

"We have to fly to town immediately," she declared, her brown eyes determined behind her purple mask.
