Pink Preparations

Yuki adjusted her scissor hairpins for the third time that morning. Her pink curls bounced as she walked through the cobblestone streets of Nakaibito village, her heels clicking against the stones. The magical hairdressing salon awaited her arrival.

"Another busy day ahead," she murmured, fingering her scissors necklace. Her purple eyes sparkled with determination as she approached the shop where Maki and Yuko were already preparing their stations.

Maki looked up from polishing her thinning shears, her brown hair tied back in a practical bun. "Did you hear about the boys causing trouble at the market yesterday?"

Yuko nodded, adjusting her clippers with a concerned expression. Her black hair fell in straight lines to her shoulders. "Their parents are getting frustrated. Something needs to be done."

Yuki's pink-painted nails drummed against the counter. The three magical girls exchanged knowing glances. Their wands—shaped like hair tools—hummed softly with magical energy, ready for whatever challenges lay ahead in their peaceful village.

The Frightened Visitors

The bell above the salon door chimed as five boys stumbled through the entrance, dragged by their frustrated parents. Yuki gasped at the sight of them—their hair hung past their shoulders in tangled, greasy mats that made them look completely different from other village boys.

"Please help us," pleaded Mrs. Tanaka, gripping her son Ren's arm tightly. "People keep mistaking them for girls. We can't take it anymore."

The boys huddled together like frightened animals. Haruto's eyes darted to Yuki's scissor earrings and he whimpered. Kenji spotted Maki's thinning shears and stepped backward. When Hiroto saw Yuko adjusting her clippers, he actually turned pale.

"No cutting!" Riku shouted, his voice cracking with fear. "You don't understand—last time someone cut our hair, it looked horrible!"

An elderly woman with a cheerful smile peeked through the window, watching the commotion with interest. She wore a flowered apron and carried a basket of fresh bread from the market.

"Your hair is too long," Yuki said firmly, reaching for her magical scissors wand. "We have to cut it."

"We won't let you!" Ren declared, all five boys backing toward the door as their parents blocked their escape.
