Pink Scissors and Morning Troubles
Yuki adjusted her scissor-shaped hairpins as she walked through Nakaibito village's cobblestone streets. Her pink heels clicked against the stones, and her elaborate pink curls bounced with each step. The morning sun made her scissors earrings sparkle.
"Another busy day at the salon," she whispered to herself, spinning her pink necklace between her fingers.
From around the corner came shouting voices. Yuki peeked and saw five boys with long, tangled hair covering their eyes. Their clothes were wrinkled and dirty.
"We're not going!" yelled one boy with black hair that reached his shoulders.
"You can't make us!" another boy shouted, his brown hair so greasy it stuck to his face.
Behind them, angry parents pushed and pulled, trying to drag the boys toward the village salon. The boys kicked and screamed, their voices echoing off the buildings.
Yuki's purple eyes widened. She had never seen children so terrified of a haircut before.
Golden Scissors Appear
Suddenly, three boys burst from an alley, running toward the scene. The tallest one had golden scissors glinting in his hands.
"Daiki! Sato! Look what we found!" he shouted to his friends. "More messy hair to cut!"
The boy with the golden scissors grinned wickedly. "Perfect, Ryusei! These long-haired boys need our help!"
Yuki gasped. She had heard whispers about these bullies who forced haircuts on unwilling children with their giant golden scissors.
The five frightened boys screamed louder when they saw Ryusei approaching. Their parents looked confused but kept pushing them forward.
"No! Not the golden scissors!" one boy with tangled red hair cried out.
A small sparrow landed on Yuki's shoulder, chirping frantically as if trying to warn her of danger.
Ryusei raised his golden scissors high. "Don't worry, we'll make you look proper!"
Yuki stepped forward, her purple eyes flashing with determination. She couldn't let these bullies hurt the already terrified boys.
"Stop right there!" she called out, her scissors earrings jingling as she moved.
The bullies turned toward her, their golden scissors catching the morning sunlight.
