The Wind Whispers Shadows
The sun peeked over the Green Plains, bathing everything in a golden hue. The soft grass waved like a welcoming carpet stretching to the distant hills. Shin stood alone, eyes closed, just listening. The wind caressed his face, bringing a sense of tranquility.
Slowly, Shin opened his eyes. "He's here," he whispered, as if hearing the wind's secret. He straightened, the calm giving way to quiet determination.
Behind him, the thud of heavy footsteps punctuated the still air. Kaze strode into view, his eyebrows furrowed, fists clenched. His aura flickered a faint red, a signal of his restrained energy.
"You kept me waiting, Shin," Kaze called out, his voice laced with a mixture of impatience and challenge.
Shin turned to face him. "I don’t move for anger. But I’ll end this quickly." His words were calm, but his eyes held a steely resolve.
Silence stretched taut between them until, suddenly, Kaze surged forward, a punch aimed straight for Shin. The wind responded, howling through the grass. Shin sidestepped, his movements fluid, and the wind whipped at him, matching his intensity. His black hair shimmered with a hint of electric blue, a promise of untapped power waiting within.
Awakening Storms
Kaze's punch sailed past Shin, the air rippling with force. His hair brightened into a vivid electric blue as Shin’s power surged. The ground beneath them trembled softly.
In the midst of their intense duel, Shin's gaze caught an intriguing object on the ground—a weathered book with symbols. It seemed out of place here on the Green Plains, its pages fluttering slightly as if whispering secrets.
Kaze lunged again, eyes fierce. “Still got surprises, huh?” he shouted, red aura blazing.
Shin, steadied his breath, feeling the pull of the book's mystery mingling with the urgency of Kaze's attack. His mind wrestled between the fight and the intrigue that lay flickering at the edge of his vision.
“Focus, Shin!” Kaze roared, closing in with a swift series of jabs. Shin's instincts kicked in, moving him swiftly, each movement a dance with the relentless wind.
His heart raced, considering whether the mystery of the book was worth the risk to divert his focus from Kaze's onslaught.
