The Lantern's Lament
Listen to audiobook
Glimmering Beginnings
Under the cobalt sky, where olive trees stood like sentinels, three princesses gathered at the radiant Lesbian Castle. Cinderella, with her neat bob and sparkling blue eyes, adjusted her orange uniform and turned to Rapunzel.
"Did you read about the legend of the lantern too?" Her voice carried a mixture of excitement and doubt.
Rapunzel's golden hair shimmered in the breeze as she replied, "Yes, and it's said to restore hope. But can we really find it?"
The Mermaid, lounging at the stone's edge, splashed her shimmering tail playfully, "Why not? Adventures await, and courage is our guide."
A Hop Towards Possibility
Cinderella, Rapunzel, and the Mermaid set out from the towering walls of Lesbian Castle, their hearts alight with determination. The path, winding and narrow, meandered through the thick olive groves, casting quirky shadows on their faces. Rapunzel, with her vivid golden tresses, led the way, curious eyes scanning the enchanting landscape.
"Can you imagine? The lantern could be anywhere on this island!" Cinderella exclaimed, adjusting her orange uniform diligently. Her voice tinkled with musical optimism, though an undercurrent of worry lingered.
The Mermaid flipped her shimmering tail and laughed, "Or it could be beneath the waves! Wouldn't that be exciting?"
Suddenly, a rustling from the bushes caught their attention. Out emerged a slender rabbit, its fur as dark as a moonless night, twitching its ears. "Oh, hello there!" gasped Rapunzel, crouching low. The rabbit fixed its curious gaze upon them, and with a nimble hop, started hopping down a side path, pausing now and then to look back.
"I say we follow it," Cinderella suggested, her eyes sparkling with adventure.
"Could be leading us to something amazing, or maybe it's just a rabbit who likes attention," teased the Mermaid.
