Pink Glasses and Theater Dreams

Nelly adjusted her pink glasses as she walked through the hallways of New Jersey High School. Her blonde and pink hair caught the morning sunlight streaming through the tall windows. The pink bow in her hair bounced with each step, matching her bright pink dress and gloves.

"Nelly! Wait up!" called Nikki from behind, her sneakers squeaking against the polished floor.

Nelly turned around, her gap-toothed smile lighting up her face. "I can't wait for theater class today! Miss Willow said we're going to try on our costumes."

"Really?" Nikki's eyes widened as she caught up. "For the play next week?"

"Yes! The whole Love Shot Bizze Crew will be there. Tim, Milo, Annie, all of us." Nelly spun around excitedly, her pink beret staying perfectly in place.

They pushed open the theater room doors together. Miss Willow stood at the front, surrounded by colorful costume racks. The stage lights cast a warm glow across the empty seats.

"Good morning, girls," Miss Willow smiled. "Ready for an exciting day?"

The Costume Crisis

Tim and Milo burst through the theater room doors, their long hair flowing behind them. Tim's dark curls bounced past his shoulders while Milo's straight brown hair reached his waist.

"Sorry we're late!" Tim called out, slightly out of breath.

Miss Willow smiled warmly. "Perfect timing. We're about to try on costumes."

Annie appeared from behind a costume rack, holding up a sparkly blue dress. "Look at this one, Nelly! It's gorgeous!"

The five friends gathered around the costume racks. Miss Willow handed each of them their outfit for the play.

"Alright everyone, changing rooms are behind the stage," Miss Willow announced. "Let's see how everything fits."

Ten minutes later, frustrated voices echoed from behind the curtains.

"This hat won't stay on!" Tim groaned.

"My wig keeps sliding off!" Milo added.

Nelly emerged first, her pink costume fitting perfectly. Nikki and Annie looked great too. But when Tim and Milo stepped out, their long hair was sticking out everywhere from under their character wigs and hats.

"Oh dear," Miss Willow frowned. "The costumes were designed for shorter hairstyles. This won't work for the performance."
