On a crisp morning in Camelot's bustling courtyard, Merlin—the young wizard clad in a dark blue robe sprinkled with stars—darted between the chattering townsfolk and vendors. The castle stood grandly behind him, its turrets reaching for the heavens.

"Merlin!" cried Gwen, Arthur's kind-hearted friend, waving from a flower stall.

Merlin smiled, hurrying over. "Morning, Gwen! What's the mood today?"

Before Gwen could answer, a murmur spread through the crowd like wildfire. Eyes turned to the skies as a shadow loomed above.

Startled, Merlin tilted his head back. Hovering near Camelot's towers was not a bird, but a butterfly—colossal and veined with strange, swirling patterns.

"It's enchanted!" a woman whispered, clutching her daughter.

Merlin's curiosity flared. He knew magic's touch when he saw it, and this creature was surely touched by a sorcerer. An ominous hue darkened the vibrant colors, hinting at trouble.

Feeling a tug of excitement and dread, Merlin vowed to unravel the mystery before it unfolded into something more sinister. With determination and a hint of apprehension, he set out to investigate what this butterfly foretold for Camelot.

Merlin slipped past Camelot's bustling kitchen, a gentle waft of bread baking barely capturing his attention. He needed answers.

He dashed up the stone steps, every stride bouncing echoes through the grand hall. His heartbeat raced with the urgency to alert King Uther of the colossal butterfly.

In the corridor, Merlin nearly collided with Lady Morgana. Her long dark hair swung in a graceful arc as penetrating eyes met his.

"You seem in a hurry, Merlin," Morgana noted, her voice smooth yet curious.

"There's something dark over Camelot," Merlin replied, uneasy about sharing the details.

Morgana's eye sparked with a secretive interest. "The butterfly, yes? I've felt its pull, too. It's no ordinary creature."

Surprised by her awareness, Merlin hesitated. "You know about it?"

"Of course. There's a shadow over this place that's grown stronger," Morgana confessed, her tone a whisper.

Realizing an ally, Merlin nodded. "We must find out why it's here."

Morgana offered a knowing smile. "I might know where to start." Together, they set out to uncover the truth, their partnership forming against a foreboding mystery.
