Caribou Castle glistened under the first rays of Tundar's blue sun. The Four Deer Maids, loyal protectors of the Caribou Queen, were busy with their morning routine, their uniforms crisp and their powers at the ready. Amira's eyes sparkled with curiosity as she adjusted her antlers.

"Looks like another ordinary day," she mused, her brown fur catching the sunlight.

Suddenly, an unusual glint caught her eye. Half-buried in the snow was a colorful, shimmering object. Amira knelt to pick it up.

"What do you make of this?" she called out to her friends.

Eva, the most logical of the group, tilted her head. "A jellybean? Here?"

Layla nodded. "It feels... strange."

Serena, the empathetic one, looked towards the Queen's chambers. "We should tell her, but I have a feeling this could be the start of something big."

Instinctively, they sought the Queen's opinion. Her eyes, wise and filled with trust, gave an approving nod.

"Go, my brave Deer Maids. Discover where this path leads. Tundar depends on you."

With hearts beating fast, the Four Deer Maids prepared for a journey unlike any before.

Echoes of the Unknown

The snow crunched under their hooves as the Four Deer Maids ventured into the wooded outskirts of Caribou Castle. There's always a hint of enchantment in the air here, with the pine needles catching the sunlight like tiny shards of emeralds.

Eva glanced around, her ears twitching at every rustle. "Do you think something is waiting for us out here?"

"I think," Layla replied thoughtfully, "that whatever left this jellybean wanted to be found."

Amira nodded. “It’s leading us."

Before the discussion could go any further, a blue-furred fox darted in front of them, startling Serena. With eyes as bright as the morning sky and a coat that shimmered like sapphire, this fox was not ordinary by any means.

"Ah, the Deer Maids," the fox said with a grin. "I've been expecting you."

Eva raised an eyebrow. "Who are you?"

"Ludo," he replied, his voice dripping with playful mischief. "Let's just say, I know a thing or two about mysterious jellybeans and dimension-hopping."

Serena's eyes narrowed, sensing a hint of both truth and deception. "What do you want from us?"

"Want? Oh, nothing. Perhaps just to be part of your grand adventure," Ludo said, bowing mockingly. "Or maybe to warn you."

Layla stepped forward. "Warn us? About what?"

Ludo chuckled. "There's a being, a powerful one, who can manipulate dimensions. This jellybean you've found? It's just the beginning."

The Deer Maids exchanged glances, the weight of their mission growing heavier.

Finally, Amira spoke, her voice filled with determination. "Looks like we have an adventure to start. Ludo, if you know something, spill it."

Ludo laughed. "Ah, straight to the point! Well, you’ll need my help eventually, that much I can assure. For now, follow the jellybean's trail—just follow the sparkles in the snow." With that, he vanished into the shadows, leaving a trail of shimmering footprints.
