Sunshine's heart danced to the rhythm of New York City as she stepped into the noisy corridor of her new high school. "Out of the way!" a voice called. Clumsily, Sunshine dodged a rush of students. Her eyes landed on a boy leaning casually against the lockers. He had messy brown hair and wore a worn blue hoodie, looking every bit the cool, aloof type.

"I'm Sunshine," she offered, trying to break the ice.

"Sam," he replied with a smirk. "New, huh?"

"Was it that obvious?"

Sam chuckled, hinting at a rivalry in the making. "Just stick with me. You'll survive."

Her laugh was genuine and loud enough to attract a curious glance from a passing group. "Deal," she said, unknowingly stepping into a whirlwind of friendship and unexpected alliances. Together, they walked into the bustling throng, the mystery of their new adventure waiting to unfold.
