Morning at the Hub
Ms Atomic Sheep stretched her arms as morning sunlight streamed through the tall windows of her headquarters. The chrome walls reflected her blue supersuit as she walked past rows of blinking computers and floating holographic displays.
"Another peaceful day in Meadow Metropolis," she said, adjusting her grey gloves. Her X-ray vision automatically scanned the city beyond the glass walls. Citizens hurried along sidewalks below—sheep in business suits, goats carrying briefcases, humans chatting on phones.
A red alarm light suddenly flashed on the main control panel. Ms Atomic Sheep floated over and pressed a silver button. The screen showed a peculiar scene: Professor Woolbert, the city's eccentric inventor, was running frantically around his laboratory.
"Help! Something terrible has happened!" his voice crackled through the speakers.
Ms Atomic Sheep's playful eyes narrowed with concern. She had never heard the old ram sound so panicked before. Without hesitation, she launched herself toward the window.
The Sparkling Mishap
Ms Atomic Sheep crashed through the laboratory window in a shower of glass. Professor Woolbert, the elderly ram inventor with gray wool, stood beside a massive machine that hummed with electric energy. Sparks danced between copper coils while purple light pulsed from its center.
"Thank goodness you're here!" Professor Woolbert bleated, his laboratory coat singed at the edges. "My Personality Exchange Device malfunctioned during testing!"
Before Ms Atomic Sheep could respond, a tremendous WHOOSH filled the air. The machine's purple beam suddenly swiveled toward her like a searchlight. She tried to dodge, but the brilliant ray struck her directly in the chest.
"No!" Professor Woolbert cried, frantically pressing buttons on his control panel.
Ms Atomic Sheep felt a strange tingling sensation spread through her body. Her atomic energy powers flickered like a dying lightbulb. She attempted to fly, but her feet remained firmly planted on the laboratory floor.
Across the city, Benny the goat was lounging in his favorite chair at the laundromat, half-asleep while watching his socks tumble in the dryer. Suddenly, the same purple energy surrounded him. His eyes snapped open as incredible strength surged through his previously lazy limbs.
