Morning Preparations

Yuki adjusted her scissor hairpins and checked her reflection in the salon mirror. Her pink curls bounced as she nodded with satisfaction. The purple polish on her nails caught the morning light streaming through the windows of Magical Cuts, the most popular hair salon in Nakaibito village.

"Ready for another busy day?" asked Maki, tying her apron strings. Her green hair swished as she arranged her styling tools.

"Always!" Yuki replied, her purple eyes sparkling. She loved making people feel beautiful with perfect haircuts.

Yuko rushed in, nearly tripping over her own feet. "Did you hear? There's a group of boys in town who refuse to get haircuts. Their parents are furious!"

"How bad could it be?" Yuki laughed, spinning her scissors around her finger.

Through the salon window, they spotted five figures with long, tangled hair covering their faces. The boys shuffled past like they were trying to hide from the world.

The Fountain Chase

Yuki stepped outside Magical Cuts, her pink heels clicking on the cobblestone path. "We should follow them and see what's really going on."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Maki asked, but she was already untying her apron.

The three girls hurried down the winding street, keeping their distance from the mysterious boys. As they rounded a corner near the village fountain, they heard shouting.

"Get away from us!" a voice yelled.

Three older boys with giant scissors were chasing the long-haired group around the fountain. Water splashed everywhere as the younger boys tried to escape.

"We're gonna give you the worst haircuts ever!" laughed the biggest bully, waving his enormous shears in the air.

"That's Ryusei and his gang," Yuko whispered. "They're always causing trouble."

One of the long-haired boys slipped on the wet stones and fell hard. His friends stopped running to help him up, but now they were trapped.

"This is terrible," Yuki said, her purple eyes flashing with determination. "Those poor boys are even more scared of haircuts now because of bullies like that."

The scissors gang closed in, grinning wickedly.
