The Pink Scissors Salon

Yuki adjusted her scissors earrings and smoothed her pink dress as she unlocked the door to her magical salon in Nakaibito village. The morning sun sparkled through the windows, casting rainbow reflections off her collection of scissors mounted on the walls.

"Another beautiful day to help people feel their best," she said, checking her pink nails in the mirror.

Her purple eyes widened as she spotted five boys walking down the street outside. Their hair hung in greasy, tangled messes that reached their shoulders. People passing by kept staring and whispering.

"Oh my," Yuki gasped, touching her scissor hairpins. "Those poor boys look like they haven't had a proper haircut in months!"

She watched as the boys shuffled along, heads down, clearly embarrassed by all the attention. One boy tried to hide behind his shaggy bangs while another pulled his hair forward to cover his face.

Yuki's heart went out to them. As a magical hairdresser, she knew exactly what they needed.

Unexpected Visitors at Dawn

Just as Yuki finished organizing her pink nail polish collection, the salon door burst open with a loud crash. Five boys stumbled inside, dragged by three angry-looking parents who held them firmly by their arms.

"Please, you have to help us," pleaded a woman with short, practical hair and tired eyes. "These boys refuse to cut their hair. People keep mistaking them for girls!"

The tallest boy, with greasy black hair covering half his face, shook his head frantically. "No scissors! We don't want haircuts!"

"Last time someone cut our hair, it looked awful," whispered another boy, his brown hair hanging in tangled clumps past his shoulders.

Yuki's purple eyes widened as she took in the scene. The boys looked terrified, their faces pale beneath their messy bangs. One boy had his arms wrapped protectively around his head.

"We tried everything," sighed another parent. "They won't even let us near them with a comb."

"The other kids at school make fun of us," mumbled the smallest boy, his voice barely audible through his curtain of dirty blond hair. "But we're too scared of scissors."

Yuki touched her scissor hairpins thoughtfully, realizing this would be her biggest challenge yet.
