The Sparkling Invitation

Queen India adjusted her golden crown as the sleigh glided up the snowy mountain path. Beside her, Queen Elisabeth pulled her royal blue cloak tighter against the cold wind.

"Look!" India pointed ahead. "The Ice Queen's palace!"

The castle rose before them like a giant snowflake, its walls made entirely of gleaming ice. Crystalline towers twisted toward the cloudy sky, and frozen waterfalls decorated the sides like ribbons.

Elisabeth gasped. "It's magnificent!"

Their sleigh stopped at massive ice doors carved with intricate snowflake patterns. A servant in white fur stepped forward.

"Welcome, Your Majesties," he bowed. "The Ice Queen awaits you for the Great Winter Cooking Challenge."

India and Elisabeth exchanged glances. They had traveled far for this contest, but neither knew exactly what awaited them inside.

The servant led them through halls lined with ice sculptures. Their footsteps echoed on the frozen floor.

"The Ice Queen has prepared something special," he said with a mysterious smile.

They entered a vast kitchen. Counters made of solid ice stretched everywhere. Strange cooking tools hung from icicle hooks.

"Where is the Ice Queen?" Elisabeth asked.

Suddenly, a small green parrot landed on India's shoulder. "Welcome, queens!" it squawked. "I am Frost, the Ice Queen's messenger. She cannot come today—a blizzard trapped her in the North Tower!"

India and Elisabeth exchanged worried looks.

"But the contest must continue!" Frost announced. "You have three hours to create the perfect winter feast. The winner receives the Frozen Crown of Culinary Magic!"

The parrot pointed one wing at gleaming ice ingredients filling the shelves.
