Morning Light at the Skull Castle

He-Man stood at the top of Castle Grayskull's tower, watching the twin suns rise over Eternia. The morning air felt crisp against his face as he gripped his Power Sword tightly.

"Beautiful day for training," he said to himself, raising the gleaming blade above his head.

A white falcon swooped down and landed on the stone wall beside him. In a shimmer of light, the bird transformed into the Sorceress, her flowing robes catching the breeze.

"Good morning, He-Man," she said with a warm smile. "Ready for another day of protecting Eternia?"

He-Man grinned and swung his sword in a practice arc. "Always ready! Though I wonder what Skeletor might be planning today. It's been too quiet lately."

The Sorceress nodded thoughtfully. "Yes, I sense something stirring in the shadows. We must stay alert."

He-Man practiced a few more sword moves, feeling the familiar weight of his trusted weapon. The Power Sword had never failed him before.

When Metal Fails

He-Man descended the winding stone steps of Castle Grayskull, his boots echoing in the quiet corridors. He decided to practice his sword work in the courtyard below, away from the tower's morning winds.

"Time for some real training," he said, stepping into the open space surrounded by ancient walls.

He raised his Power Sword high above his head, preparing for his favorite downward strike. The blade felt heavier than usual in his hands.

He swung down with all his might, but the sword stopped halfway through the arc. It simply wouldn't move any further, as if frozen in place.

"What?" He-Man grunted, trying again. The sword remained stuck in mid-air.

Suddenly, a sharp crack echoed across the courtyard. The blade split right down the middle, sending two jagged pieces clattering to the stone ground.

He-Man stared at the broken hilt in his hand, his mouth hanging open. In all his adventures, nothing like this had ever happened.

A sinister laugh rang out from the castle's entrance. Skeletor stepped into view, his skull face grinning wickedly.

"Having weapon troubles, He-Man?" Skeletor cackled, his bony fingers dancing with dark energy.
