The Morning Spark

Crayon Foxy Loxy stretched her orange arms as sunlight streamed through the blue stone windows of Crayon Castle. Her teal eyes sparkled as she adjusted her purple mask and smoothed her flowing red cape.

"Another beautiful day in Craft Room City," she said, reaching for her giant blue crayon from its special stand beside her super-size bed.

The moment her paws touched the crayon, it felt different. Warmer than usual. Almost... buzzing?

"That's weird," she muttered, holding it closer to examine.

Suddenly, the crayon wiggled in her grip. Then it tugged forward, as if something invisible was pulling it.

"Hey!" Foxy Loxy gasped, gripping tighter. "What's gotten into you today?"

The crayon dragged her toward the window, where she could see the bustling streets below. Humanoid deer hurried to work while fox families chatted on corners. Everything looked perfectly normal.

But her crayon kept pulling, stronger now, pointing toward the heart of the city.

The Morning Rush

The crayon jerked forward so hard that Foxy Loxy stumbled through her castle doorway. Her red cape fluttered behind her as she hurried down the winding blue stone steps.

"Slow down!" she called to the crayon, but it dragged her faster through the streets of Craft Room City.

A humanoid sheep baker with curly white wool and flour-dusted apron looked up from arranging pastries in his shop window. His brown eyes widened as Foxy Loxy rushed past, pulled by her glowing crayon.

"Morning, Foxy!" he called. "Where's the fire?"

"I wish I knew!" she shouted back, gripping the crayon with both paws.

The crayon led her straight to the central fountain where it suddenly stopped. Foxy Loxy caught her breath, adjusting her purple mask.

Then the crayon began drawing in the air. Blue lines appeared from nowhere, forming shapes she didn't recognize. The lines hung suspended, glowing brighter and brighter.

"What are you making?" she whispered.

The floating blue drawing pulsed once, then vanished. But something had changed. The fountain's water now sparkled with the same blue glow as her crayon.

Other citizens stopped to stare. Something was definitely wrong.
