Morning Glitch

Super Marker Tiger stretched his orange arms and stepped onto the observation deck of SMT Fortress. The morning sun painted the tiger-striped towers golden, and he could see the colorful banners of Big Cat Metropolis fluttering in the distance.

"Perfect day for the Art Festival," he said, adjusting his blue sunglass goggles.

He summoned his giant blue marker with a confident gesture. The familiar weight felt reassuring in his paws. Time for his morning practice session.

Super Marker Tiger aimed at a practice target on the fortress wall and concentrated. He pulled the trigger mechanism.

Nothing happened.

He frowned and tried again, focusing harder. The marker made a faint clicking sound, but no blue energy blast emerged.

"What's going on?" He shook the marker and examined it closely. The surface still glowed with its usual blue light, but something was definitely wrong.

From the city below, the first sounds of festival preparation drifted up to the fortress. Music, laughter, and the excited chatter of vendors setting up their booths.

The Vanishing Colors

Super Marker Tiger frowned at his malfunctioning marker and decided to head into the city. Maybe the festival's art experts could help figure out what was wrong.

He teleported to Main Plaza, where colorful booths lined the streets. The smell of paint and clay filled the air. Vendors called out, selling brushes, canvases, and sculptures.

"Super Marker Tiger!" A cheerful voice called out. He turned to see Luna, a koala artist with gray fur and bright overalls, waving from her booth. "Perfect timing! I need your marker blasts to help mix my paints."

"Actually, that's why I'm here," he said, approaching her booth. "My marker isn't working properly."

Luna's dark eyes widened with concern. "Oh no! But the Grand Art Contest starts in two hours! The winner gets to paint the new city mural."

Suddenly, a commotion erupted from the fountain nearby. Several artists were shouting and pointing at their easels.

"My red paint just disappeared!" one yelled.

"My blue is gone too!" called another.

Super Marker Tiger and Luna rushed over. Sure enough, patches of color were vanishing from paintings all around the plaza, leaving strange white spots behind.
