The Rainbow Paint Rebellion

Morning Troubles
Ms. Paintbrush Axolotl stretched her arms wide as sunlight streamed through the enormous windows of her tower. The paintbrush-shaped building gleamed silver in the morning light, its tip pointing toward the clouds above Canvas Zoo City.
She walked to her supply room, her rainbow cape flowing behind her. The shelves should have been packed with paint tubes, brushes, and canvases. Instead, half-empty spaces stared back at her.
"That's odd," she murmured, touching a nearly empty shelf where her favorite crimson paint had been yesterday.
Her phone buzzed. A text from Mayor Zebra: "Emergency art class today at the community center. Can you help?"
She grabbed her remaining supplies, but her bag felt surprisingly light. Where had everything gone? She'd organized these shelves just two days ago.
Outside her window, the city bustled with morning activity. Elephant construction workers operated cranes while giraffe traffic controllers directed the busy streets.
Something wasn't right about her missing supplies, but the mayor needed her help first.
The Unexpected Helper
Ms. Paintbrush Axolotl flew through Canvas Zoo City's morning air, her rainbow cape streaming behind her. Below, the community center buzzed with activity as children arrived for the emergency art class.
She landed gracefully near the entrance where Mayor Zebra, a tall zebra woman with black and white stripes, waited anxiously. Her orange blazer gleamed in the sunlight.
"Thank goodness you're here," Mayor Zebra said. "We have thirty kids arriving in ten minutes, and our art teacher called in sick."
Ms. Paintbrush opened her supply bag. Three paint tubes, two brushes, and a handful of crayons tumbled out. Her stomach dropped.
"This isn't enough for five children, let alone thirty," she whispered.
Mayor Zebra's ears twitched nervously. "What do we do? The parents are counting on us."
A small voice piped up behind them. "Excuse me, miss?"
They turned to see a young koala girl with gray fur and bright blue overalls. She clutched a worn backpack.
"I'm Luna," the koala said shyly. "I brought my art supplies. Maybe we could share?"
Ms. Paintbrush's eyes widened as Luna opened her bag, revealing dozens of paint tubes, brushes, and canvases.
