The Swaying Quiet

Bumblevine Jungle wiggles—vines twist, birds chatter, and squishy fruit pops underfoot.

“Sing with me!” hums Starlight Sprinkle, her silver wings glittering.

Brave Sasha pats her sparkly jewelry. “I love treasures.”

A plump berry suddenly hops like a ball, boing-boing.

“Did you hear that giggle?” Sasha asks, eyes wide.

The Wiggle-Sound

Sasha gasps. “My berry-bright bracelet!” Her wrist feels plain.

Starlight Sprinkle, the Space Fairy, tilts her violet eyes. “Let us look.”

A hopping berry bounces by with a sparkly loop on its stem.

“Stop!” Sasha says.

Starlight sings, “Stand still, jungle!” The vines obey the words, not the meaning, and freeze like stiff noodles.

Sasha tiptoes. “One safe spot… after we get it back.”
