Morning Bubbles

Bath Toy Crayon zoomed through the air above Wild Metropolis, his black sunglasses glinting in the morning sun. Water droplets swirled around him like a sparkling cape as he performed a perfect loop-de-loop.

"What a beautiful day for a bath!" he called out cheerfully, diving toward the distinctive bathtub-shaped fortress below.

Crayon Tub Fortress stood proudly in the city center, its four colorful crayon towers reaching toward the clouds. Bath Toy Crayon loved coming home to his friendly neighbors. As he landed with a splash in the courtyard fountain, three deer ladies in fluffy bathrobes looked up from their morning tea.

"Good morning, Dahlia!" Bath Toy Crayon waved to the lead deer. Her brown fur gleamed as she smiled back.

"Hello, little friend! How was your flight?"

Before he could answer, excited chatter erupted from the sheep quarters. Woolinda, the head sheep, was waving a letter frantically.

"Everyone! Come quickly! We have news!" she bleated, her white wool bouncing as she hopped up and down.

Bath Toy Crayon's curiosity bubbled up like soap suds. What could have the sheep so worked up?

The Unwelcome News

The fortress residents gathered in the main courtyard as Woolinda, the white-wooled sheep, cleared her throat dramatically. She held up the official-looking letter with trembling hooves.

"Three new families want to move into our fortress!" she announced. "Rabbit families with twelve children total!"

Dahlia, the brown-furred deer, nearly dropped her teacup. "Twelve children? Where would they all sleep?"

Bath Toy Crayon zoomed closer, water droplets still sparkling around him. "That sounds exciting! More friends to play with!"

But Penelope, the lead pig in her purple bathrobe, snorted worriedly. "Our towers are already full. We barely have space for our own things."

"The letter says they need an answer by tomorrow," Woolinda continued, her voice rising with panic. "But there's no room! We'd have to share everything - our baths, our breakfast tables, even our favorite napping spots!"

The three species of animals began talking over each other, voices getting louder and more upset. Bath Toy Crayon noticed something troubling - a small, elderly monkey in a red vest was perched on the fortress wall, listening to every word with intense interest.

The monkey pulled out a tiny notebook and scribbled something down before disappearing.
