Hair Battle Melbourne

The Meeting Spot
Felix adjusted his mushroom ring and glanced around the bustling Melbourne street. The morning sun cast long shadows between the colorful buildings as trams rattled past on their tracks. His blonde hair caught the light as he walked toward the meeting spot where his bandmates waited.
"There he is!" Vic called out, pushing his blue hair from his glasses. The braces on his teeth caught the sunlight as he grinned.
"About time," Adam muttered, his strawberry blonde hair messy from sleep. He strummed an invisible guitar chord in the air.
Nat stood quietly beside them, black hair falling across one eye, hands tucked deep in pockets. The twins, Mason and Nathan, were already arguing about something trivial.
"So what's this emergency meeting about?" Felix asked, his alien earrings jangling softly.
Vic pointed across the street to a bright pink hair salon. Through the window, they could see a girl with vibrant pink hair styling someone's hair with what looked like electric clippers.
"Miss Lolly," Mason spat. "She's at it again with those torture machines."
Felix felt his stomach twist. Just seeing those clippers made his hands shake slightly.
The Pink Challenge
"Nathan, you're being dramatic," Adam said, rolling his eyes. "They're just hair tools."
"Just tools?" Mason stepped forward, his face red. "Those things buzz and vibrate like angry wasps!"
Felix watched Miss Lolly through the window. She moved the clippers with such confidence, creating perfect lines in her client's hair. His stomach churned.
"Hey!" A voice called from across the street.
Four girls walked toward them. The one in front had glossy black hair and wore a pink dress covered in tiny Hello Kitty faces. Her friends followed behind, all wearing colorful outfits that sparkled in the sunlight.
"You boys talking about Miss Lolly again?" the girl asked. "I'm Yasmin."
Vic pushed his glasses up his nose. "Maybe we were."
"She's the best stylist in Melbourne," declared another girl with curly brown hair. "I'm Jasmine."
"Prove it," Nat said quietly, his black hair falling across his face.
Yasmin's eyes lit up. She pulled out her phone and started typing rapidly. "Miss Lolly! Come outside!"
The pink-haired woman appeared in her salon doorway, wearing a Sanrio apron covered in cartoon characters.
"What if we had a contest?" Yasmin announced. "Your band against Miss Lolly. Hair styling competition!"
