Pink Preparations

Yuki adjusted her scissor hairpins and checked her reflection in the salon mirror. Her pink curls bounced as she nodded, satisfied with her appearance. The magical hairdressing salon in Nakaibito village sparkled with her personal touches – pink chairs, glittering scissors displayed on the walls, and bottles of shimmering hair potions arranged on crystal shelves.

"Today's the day," she whispered to herself, her purple eyes gleaming with determination. She had heard whispers around the village about five boys who desperately needed haircuts but refused to step foot in any salon. Their hair had grown so long and unkempt that villagers often mistook them for girls.

Yuki picked up her favorite pair of magical scissors, watching them catch the morning sunlight streaming through the window. The handles were encrusted with tiny pink gems that tinkled softly when she moved them.

She had never encountered children who were truly afraid of haircuts before, but she was confident her gentle magic and kind heart would help them overcome whatever fears they harbored.

The Giant Scissors

Yuki stepped outside her salon and immediately heard shouting from the town square. A crowd had gathered around something she couldn't quite see. Her pink heels clicked against the cobblestones as she hurried closer.

"Let us go!" a voice cried out desperately.

Pushing through the crowd, Yuki gasped at what she saw. Five boys with incredibly long, tangled hair were being dragged toward her salon by their angry parents. The boys kicked and struggled, their hair so greasy and unkempt it hung like curtains around their faces.

"Ren, stop fighting!" one mother scolded, gripping her son's wrist tightly.

But what made Yuki's heart sink were the three older boys following behind, cackling with glee. The tallest one carried enormous scissors that gleamed menacingly in the sunlight.

"Look at those girls getting haircuts!" the leader laughed cruelly, snapping his giant scissors in the air. "Maybe we should help with the cutting, Ryusei style!"

The five younger boys screamed even louder, terror filling their eyes at the sight of those massive scissors. Yuki realized these weren't just boys afraid of haircuts – they were boys traumatized by bullies who had hurt them before.
