Morning Colors

Doodle Bear stretched his light blue gloves as the morning sun painted Artcraft City in brilliant hues. From his window in Doodle Bear Tower, he watched a brown-furred sheep artist struggle with her easel on the street below.

"Good morning, Artcraft City!" he called out, his round friendly face beaming behind his light blue mask.

His phone buzzed with a text from his friend Sketch Pig: "Did you see the art review in today's paper? Someone's being really mean about local artists!"

Doodle Bear's big bright eyes narrowed as he opened the digital newspaper. A harsh review by someone called "Vincent Vain" tore apart three different galleries. The critic called the artists "amateurs" and "lacking true talent."

"Nobody talks about my city's artists like that," Doodle Bear muttered, crayon-like energy lines beginning to glow softly around his paws.

He had no idea that Vincent Vain was already planning something much bigger than nasty reviews.

The Challenge Echoes

Doodle Bear flew down from his tower, landing softly on the cobblestone street where the brown sheep artist still wrestled with her easel. Her wool was messy, and paint smudged her white apron.

"Need some help?" he asked, steadying her canvas as the wind tried to knock it over.

"Oh! Doodle Bear!" she gasped. "I'm Melody. I heard about those awful reviews. Vincent Vain called my painting 'childish scribbles.'"

Before Doodle Bear could respond, a loud speaker crackled from the city square. A sharp, snooty voice echoed through the streets.

"Attention, amateur artists of Artcraft City! I, Vincent Vain, challenge your so-called 'hero' Doodle Bear to prove his artistic worth!"

Doodle Bear's ears perked up. Around them, curious faces appeared in windows—a family of deer, two pigs holding coffee cups, and a koala wearing paint-splattered overalls.

"Meet me at the Grand Art Plaza in one hour for the ultimate Speed Sketch Showdown!" Vincent continued. "Three impossible challenges! If Doodle Bear loses, all public art in this city gets removed forever!"

Melody dropped her paintbrush. "He can't do that!"

Doodle Bear's paws began glowing with determined energy. "Watch me stop him."
