The Blue Crayon Factory Crisis

Morning Routine at the Lodge
Crayon Mother Goat stretched her arms as the morning sun painted Art Studio Metropolis in golden hues. From her window at Crayon Lodge, she could see the four colorful towers rising around her like giant crayons reaching for the sky.
"What a beautiful day to help the artists!" she said, adjusting her blue kerchief.
She walked down the spiral staircase, her hooves clicking softly against the polished floors. The lodge hummed with quiet energy - holographic displays showed art supply levels throughout the city, and automated systems organized crayon shipments.
At the breakfast nook, she poured herself some milk and grabbed a fresh apple. Through the large windows, she watched children heading to school with their backpacks full of art supplies.
Her phone buzzed with a text from the Art Studio Council: "Morning delivery schedule updated."
Mother Goat smiled and summoned her giant blue crayon, its gentle glow filling the room. Today felt special, though she couldn't quite explain why.
Murphy's Strange Morning
Mother Goat stepped outside Crayon Lodge, her blue kerchief fluttering in the morning breeze. The delivery schedule could wait a few minutes while she checked on the nearby Art Supply District.
She walked down Palette Street, where colorful shops lined both sides. Children were already out with their parents, picking up fresh crayons for school projects.
At Murphy's Art Emporium, she noticed something odd. A small koala in overalls stood behind the counter, looking frustrated.
"Excuse me," Mother Goat said, approaching the shop. "Is everything alright?"
The koala looked up with worried gray eyes. "Oh, Crayon Mother Goat! Thank goodness you're here. Something terrible is happening to our crayons."
She picked up a red crayon from the display. "Watch this."
The koala drew a simple flower on paper, but instead of creating red petals, the crayon erased the white paper beneath it, leaving transparent holes.
Mother Goat gasped. "That's impossible!"
"It started this morning," the koala explained. "Every crayon from the Blue Crayon Factory is doing this. Instead of making art, they're destroying it."
Mother Goat's heart sank. If this spread throughout the city, all creativity could vanish.
