The Grand Warehouse Gateway

The morning sun filtered through the glass dome of Ghibli Park's Grand Warehouse as Princess Mononoke adjusted her fur cloak. Beside her, Jiji's yellow eyes scanned the bustling crowds while Chihiro tugged on her ponytail nervously.

"Are you sure this is the right way to the Orion Cinema?" Kiki asked, her red bow catching the light as she checked her map.

Satsuki nodded confidently. "Mei spotted the movie posters earlier, didn't you?"

"Big screen! Big screen!" Mei bounced excitedly, her short brown hair bobbing.

Sosuke pointed ahead with his sailor-shirted arm. "There! I can see the entrance."

Ponyo's bright red hair shimmered as she clapped her tiny hands. "Movie time!"

Totoro's grey ears twitched with interest as they approached the ornate cinema doors. A handwritten sign read "Special Premiere Tonight - Lily LoveBraids presents: The Lost Projector Mystery."

"Sounds interesting," Chihiro whispered, though something about the empty lobby felt oddly quiet.

The Empty Theater

The friends pushed through the heavy cinema doors. Inside, red velvet seats stretched in perfect rows, but something felt wrong. The theater was completely empty.

"Hello?" Chihiro called out. Her voice echoed off the walls.

A small woman with silver braids poked her head up from behind the movie screen. She wore a bright yellow apron covered in film strips.

"Oh! Visitors!" The woman scrambled down a ladder. "I'm Lily LoveBraids, but I'm afraid there won't be a show tonight."

Princess Mononoke stepped forward. "What happened?"

Lily's eyes filled with tears. "Someone took my special projector! Without it, I can't show any movies. The premiere is ruined!"

Totoro, the big grey spirit, rumbled softly with concern.
