Morning Sparkle

Crayon Foxy Loxy stretched her paws as the first rays of sunlight filtered through the glowing blue stones of Crayon Castle. Her giant blue crayon caught the light, sparkling like a jewel.

"Another beautiful day in Craft Room City!" she declared, adjusting her purple mask and smoothing her flowing red cape.

From her tower window, she could see the bustling streets below. Humanoid deer hurried to their art shops, while sheep families painted murals on building walls. The whole city hummed with creative energy.

Foxy Loxy grabbed her phone and scrolled through her morning messages. Several friends had sent photos of their latest artwork, but one message made her pause.

"Strange things happening at Rainbow Boulevard," texted her friend Penny Paintbrush. "Colors seem... duller somehow?"

Foxy Loxy tilted her head, studying the attached photo. The normally vibrant street art did look oddly faded.

"Probably just the lighting," she murmured, but something in her artistic heart whispered otherwise.

The Empty Canvas

Foxy Loxy decided to investigate Rainbow Boulevard herself. She grabbed her giant blue crayon and headed down the winding stairs of Crayon Castle.

The streets bustled with morning activity, but something felt off. A humanoid sheep mother hurried past with three little lambs trailing behind her, all carrying paint buckets that looked strangely pale.

"Excuse me," Foxy Loxy called out. "Is everything alright with your paints?"

The sheep mother, who had curly white wool and kind brown eyes, stopped and frowned. "The strangest thing happened this morning. My children's art supplies just... lost their brightness overnight. Look!"

She held up a bucket labeled "Sunshine Yellow," but the paint inside looked like watery lemon juice.

"It's happening all over the neighborhood," one of the lambs piped up. "Mrs. Paintbrush's shop is in chaos!"

Foxy Loxy's teal eyes widened. This was much worse than a lighting problem. Someone or something was actually draining the color from their art supplies.

"We need to get to the bottom of this," she declared, gripping her crayon tighter.

The sheep family nodded eagerly. "We'll help however we can!"
