The Color Thief's Challenge

Morning Light Through Crystal Windows
Crayon Marker Doe stretched her arms wide as sunlight poured through the crystal windows of her mansion. The purple cape draped across her shoulders felt lighter than usual this morning. She grabbed her giant crayon from the golden stand beside her bed.
"Another beautiful day in Craft Room Forest," she said to herself, admiring the colorful tip that glowed softly in her hand.
Her phone buzzed on the nightstand. A text from her friend Sketch Rabbit appeared on the screen: "Something weird is happening in the west woods. The flowers look... different."
Crayon Marker Doe raised an eyebrow. Sketch Rabbit never worried about anything. She walked to her window and peered out at the forest below. The trees seemed normal from here, their leaves dancing in the morning breeze.
"Probably just the lighting," she murmured, but something in her friend's message made her pause. She tucked both her giant crayon and marker into the special holders on her belt.
The Gray Garden Mystery
Crayon Marker Doe stepped outside her mansion and immediately noticed something wrong. The morning air felt too quiet.
She pulled out her phone and called Sketch Rabbit. "Where exactly did you see these weird flowers?"
"Near the old music festival stage," came the rabbit's voice through the speaker. "But it's gotten worse. You need to see this."
Twenty minutes later, Crayon Marker Doe arrived at the clearing where the wooden stage stood empty. Sketch Rabbit, a brown rabbit with paint-stained overalls, waved frantically from behind a tree.
"Look at the roses," Sketch Rabbit whispered.
Crayon Marker Doe gasped. The entire rose garden had turned completely gray. Not just faded or wilted—actually gray, like someone had drained every drop of color from them.
"This happened overnight," Sketch Rabbit said. "And it's spreading. The daisies over there are starting to lose their yellow."
A small sparrow landed on the gray roses, then let out a confused chirp. Even its bright red breast was fading to dull silver.
"Someone's stealing colors," Crayon Marker Doe said, gripping her giant crayon tighter. "But who would do something like this?"
