The Color Thief's Challenge

Morning Routines
Drawing Beauty stretched her arms as sunlight poured through the tall windows of Drawing Castle. Her blue and black supersuit gleamed in the morning light, and her purple cape fluttered as she walked to the breakfast table.
"Good morning, Princess," called Chef Palette, a cheerful woman with paint-splattered aprons. She had warm brown eyes and gray hair pulled into a neat bun. "Your favorite rainbow pancakes are ready!"
Drawing Beauty smiled and sat down. The pancakes looked perfect - each layer a different vibrant color. She picked up her fork and took a bite.
"Something's wrong," she said, frowning. The pancake tasted fine, but the colors looked... duller somehow.
Chef Palette hurried over. "What do you mean, Princess?"
Drawing Beauty held up her fork. The purple pancake layer that had been bright violet moments before now looked more like a faded lavender.
"The colors are changing," Drawing Beauty whispered, her bright green eyes wide with concern.
The Gray Warning
Drawing Beauty rushed to the window, her purple cape swirling behind her. Outside, the bright flowers in the castle garden looked pale and washed out.
"Chef Palette, come see this!" she called.
The older woman hurried over, wiping flour from her hands on her paint-splattered apron. Together they watched as a red rose bush slowly drained of color, becoming a dull pink.
"This is terrible," Chef Palette whispered. "What's happening to our world?"
Suddenly, a tiny hummingbird zoomed through the open window. Its emerald green feathers sparkled as it hovered near Drawing Beauty's shoulder.
"Princess!" the hummingbird chirped in a high, musical voice. "I'm Shimmer from the Rainbow Gardens! A gray figure is stealing colors everywhere! It started at sunrise in the eastern meadows and is moving this way fast!"
Drawing Beauty's bright green eyes widened. "A color thief?"
"Yes! The figure has some kind of gray net that sucks the color right out of everything it touches," Shimmer explained, wings beating frantically. "The whole eastern part of Artwork Land is already gray!"
Chef Palette gasped. "At this rate, the entire kingdom will lose its color by sunset!"
Drawing Beauty touched her glowing art belt. "Then I have to stop this thief before it's too late."
