The Copycat Crisis

Morning Patrol
Creative Ewe stood on the highest tower of her fortress, watching the morning sun paint Super City in golden light. Her blue cape fluttered in the wind as she scanned the streets below. Everything looked peaceful.
"Another quiet day," she said to herself, adjusting her blue gloves. Her glowing blue eyes sparkled with satisfaction. The city felt safe under her protection.
She leaped from the tower, her cape billowing as she flew toward downtown. Landing gently on Main Street, she waved at the morning joggers and shop owners opening their stores.
"Good morning, Creative Ewe!" called Mrs. Henderson from her bakery.
"Morning, Mrs. Henderson! Fresh bread smells wonderful today."
Creative Ewe continued her patrol, floating a few feet above the sidewalk. Citizens smiled and waved as usual. Everything seemed normal until she heard something strange from around the corner.
"Thank you so much for saving my cat!" a voice exclaimed.
Creative Ewe frowned. She hadn't saved any cats this morning. Curious, she flew toward the sound.
The Other Hero
Creative Ewe rounded the corner and stopped mid-flight. There, standing in front of Paws & Claws Pet Shop, was another Creative Ewe. Same black supersuit, same blue gloves, same light blue cape. The duplicate was handing a fluffy orange cat to a grateful elderly man.
"Thank you, Creative Ewe! Whiskers was stuck on that fire escape for hours," the man said, scratching the cat behind its ears.
The real Creative Ewe's jaw dropped. Her glowing blue eyes widened in disbelief. She floated closer, studying the imposter. Everything looked identical, down to the confident stance and fluffy white wool.
"You're welcome, Mr. Peterson," the fake Creative Ewe replied with a perfect imitation of her voice. "Just doing my job."
Creative Ewe couldn't believe her ears. How did this copycat know Mr. Peterson's name? She'd rescued Whiskers from that same fire escape three times before.
The duplicate spotted her and waved cheerfully. "Oh, hello there!"
Mr. Peterson looked confused, glancing between the two identical heroes. Whiskers meowed nervously.
"Wait," Mr. Peterson stammered, "which one of you is the real Creative Ewe?"
Both heroes stared at each other. Creative Ewe felt her heart racing as more citizens began gathering around them, whispering and pointing.
