Morning Colors

Artist X Lion stood at his easel in the top studio of Artist X Fortress, mixing paint on his palette. The morning sun streamed through the large windows, casting golden light across Prideburg's skyline below.

"Perfect blue for the sky," he murmured, dipping his brush.

As he touched the bristles to canvas, something strange happened. The painted cloud didn't just appear on the surface—it puffed out, floating in the air above his easel.

Artist X Lion blinked hard. "That's not possible."

He tried again with a yellow sunflower. The moment his brush completed the petals, the flower popped free from the canvas and dropped onto his studio floor with a soft thud.

His phone buzzed with an urgent message from Mayor Roarsworth: "Emergency! All art supplies in Prideburg are disappearing. Schools, studios, shops—everything's gone!"

Artist X Lion picked up the real sunflower, its petals soft between his fingers. His magical paintbrush hummed with energy.

The Midnight Delivery

Artist X Lion tucked the magical paintbrush into his utility belt and headed for the door. His phone buzzed again with another urgent message.

"Emergency at Prideburg Elementary! Come quickly!" Mayor Roarsworth's text read.

He flew across the city, his cape streaming behind him. Below, he spotted something odd—a delivery truck speeding through the empty streets at midnight. The truck's back doors swung open, revealing hundreds of art supply boxes tumbling onto the pavement.

Artist X Lion swooped down and landed beside the scattered boxes. Paintbrushes, crayons, and colored pencils spilled everywhere. He picked up a familiar red crayon box—the same brand from his own childhood.

"Hey! Stop right there!" he called out.

The truck screeched to a halt. A small figure jumped from the passenger seat—a young otter wearing a bright yellow delivery uniform. She had dark brown fur and curious black eyes.

"Oh no! You caught me!" the otter squeaked, wringing her paws. "I'm Penny the delivery otter. I didn't mean for this to happen!"

"What's going on here?" Artist X Lion asked, his voice gentle but firm.

"Someone's been ordering all the art supplies in the city," Penny explained nervously. "Every single box! But the delivery address doesn't exist!"
