Chihiro pressed her nose against the McDonald's window, watching raindrops race down the glass. Her parents sat at a corner table, arguing quietly over a map.

"We're lost again," Dad muttered, unfolding the paper for the third time.

"Just ask for directions," Mom sighed.

The spiky-haired boy glanced around nervously, then leaned closer to Chihiro's table.

"You didn't hear anything, okay?" he whispered.

Chihiro's eyes widened. "Are you really demon hunters?"

The boy's jaw dropped. His three friends froze behind him.

"How did you—" he started.

"Jin!" a girl with short purple hair hissed. "She's just a kid!"

"A smart kid," Jin muttered. He pulled out his phone and showed Chihiro a picture of glowing meal boxes. "These special McDonald's meals give us power to fight demons. Without them tonight..."

His phone buzzed with an urgent message. His face went pale.

"The demons are coming early," he whispered. "In two hours."
