Silver Glasses and Spinning Stars

Dr. Luna Light adjusted her silver-rimmed glasses and peered through the observation deck window. Earth spun below like a blue marble, dotted with swirling white clouds. The giant space station hummed quietly around her.

"Another day studying teenage astronauts," she murmured, tucking a loose strand of red hair back into her bun. Her white lab coat rustled as she turned from the window.

Down the glowing hallway, she heard raised voices from the recreation area. Two young astronauts were arguing about something. Luna sighed and walked toward the sound.

"That's mine!" shouted a girl's voice.

"I had it first!" replied a boy.

Luna paused at the doorway, watching the scene unfold. The teenagers looked frustrated and upset over what appeared to be a simple gaming device.

The Music Box Mystery

Luna stepped into the recreation room. The two teenagers stood on opposite sides of a floating gaming pad, their faces red with anger.

"I reserved it for today!" the girl shouted. She had short brown hair and wore a blue jumpsuit.

"The schedule says I get it now!" the boy replied, crossing his arms over his green uniform.

Luna noticed something strange. Both kids were breathing heavily, and their voices sounded different than usual. Higher pitched. More emotional.

Suddenly, music drifted through the air from the station's speakers. A gentle melody filled the room.

The girl's shoulders relaxed first. Then the boy uncrossed his arms.

"Maybe we could take turns?" the girl said quietly.

Luna's eyes widened behind her glasses. The music had changed everything in seconds.
