Morning Sunshine

Crayon Cat Cinderella stretched her arms as sunlight streamed through the tall windows of Crayon Cat Castle. Her blue dress shimmered in the morning light. She yawned and padded across the stone floor to the window.

"What a beautiful day in Art Fairy Tale Land," she said, looking out at the colorful landscape below. Rolling hills painted in watercolor blues and greens stretched to the horizon. Small villages dotted the countryside like scattered puzzle pieces.

Cinderella's pointed ears twitched as she heard footsteps in the hallway. Her friend Paintbrush Pete knocked on the door.

"Good morning, Cinderella! Ready for another adventure?" Pete called through the door. He was a tall, thin man with brown hair and green paint-stained overalls.

"Just a minute!" Cinderella replied, smoothing her blonde hair.

She walked to her dresser and picked up her giant glowing blue crayon. The magical tool hummed softly in her hands. Today felt different somehow. Something exciting was about to happen.

The Escape

Cinderella opened her bedroom door and stepped into the hallway. Pete stood there with his paint-covered hands behind his back.

"I have something to show you," Pete said, grinning. "I found this box of mail addressed to the castle. Look at this letter."

He handed her a cream-colored envelope. The return address read "Baker's Delight Shop, Main Street."

"A baker sent us fan mail!" Pete exclaimed.

Cinderella tore open the envelope. Inside was a simple note: "Dear Crayon Cat Cinderella, I heard about your amazing crayon powers. Could you draw me some helpers? My shop is so busy I can barely keep up. Thank you, Maria the Baker."

"That's sweet," Cinderella said. "I could draw her some kitchen assistants."

She raised her giant blue crayon and began sketching in the air. Blue light streamed from the crayon tip, creating glowing drawings that floated before them. First, she drew a cheerful baker's apprentice. Then a rolling pin that could work by itself.

Suddenly, the drawings began to glow brighter. The apprentice blinked his eyes and stretched.

"Hello there!" the drawing said, stepping forward.

Before Cinderella could react, both drawings zipped down the hallway and disappeared around the corner.

Pete's eyes went wide. "Did they just escape?"
