Morning Rounds

Postwoman Patty adjusted her light-blue postal bag and looked up at the Quantum Quest Science Museum. The building glowed like a giant atom against the morning sky, its curved walls catching sunlight in rainbow patterns.

"What a beautiful day for deliveries," she said, checking her list. The museum had several packages waiting, including something marked "Fragile - Exhibit Materials."

She climbed the winding path to the front entrance. Through the glass doors, she could see children's voices echoing from somewhere inside. A school group was arriving early for their visit.

At the reception desk, a young woman with brown hair smiled nervously. "Oh good, you're here! I'm Sarah, the new assistant curator. We've been having some... unusual problems with our mail lately."

The Mixed-Up Morning

Patty followed Sarah down a hallway lined with space posters. "What kind of mail problems?" she asked.

Sarah stopped at a door marked "Mail Room." Inside, packages sat scattered across tables. A large metal box with blinking lights hummed in the corner.

"That's our new sorting robot," Sarah explained. "It's supposed to organize everything automatically. But yesterday, Mrs. Henderson from Pine Street got a dinosaur skull instead of her birthday cake mix."

Patty's eyes widened. "A real dinosaur skull?"

"From our paleontology exhibit! And the museum received someone's grocery list instead of our new meteorite samples." Sarah pointed to a pile of mixed-up boxes. "The school group arrives in two hours for their special tour, but half our displays are missing their pieces!"

The robot suddenly beeped loudly and shot a package across the room.
