The Great Canvas Crisis

Morning Patrol
Ms. Crayon Boar stretched her arms as morning sunlight streamed through the tall windows of Crayon Boar Tower. Her giant magical crayon gleamed beside her bed, ready for another day of protecting Canvas Woodland City.
"Good morning, beautiful city," she said, floating to the window in her blue and black supersuit. Her orange mask sat perfectly over her wild blonde hair.
Below, the streets buzzed with activity. A family of deer walked past a coffee shop where a bear couple shared breakfast. Two rabbit friends chatted by the fountain while a fox hurried to work.
Ms. Crayon Boar smiled. Everything looked normal and colorful. The red brick buildings, green park trees, and yellow taxi cabs painted a perfect picture.
She grabbed her crayon and prepared for her daily patrol. As she stepped onto her balcony, something caught her eye. The flowers in Mrs. Maple's garden seemed a little... pale.
"Probably just the morning light," she murmured, launching into the sky.
The Festival Fades
Ms. Crayon Boar soared over Canvas Woodland City, her orange mask catching the sunlight. Below, the morning music festival was in full swing near Harmony Park. She could hear the cheerful sounds of drums and guitars floating up.
She decided to land and check on everyone. As her boots touched the grass, a fox musician with a bright red guitar waved at her.
"Ms. Crayon Boar! Perfect timing," the fox called out. "I'm Melody Fox, and we're having the strangest problem."
Ms. Crayon Boar walked closer. "What kind of problem?"
Melody Fox held up her guitar. The bright red paint was slowly fading to a dull gray. "It started an hour ago. Look around."
Ms. Crayon Boar gasped. The colorful festival banners were turning pale. A bear's purple drum set was becoming white. Even the yellow flowers in the nearby garden were losing their vibrant color.
"It's not just your flowers, Mrs. Maple," Ms. Crayon Boar whispered, remembering what she'd seen earlier.
A family of deer hurried past, their brown fur now a strange beige color. The mother deer looked worried as her twin fawns pressed close to her side.
"The colors are disappearing everywhere," Melody Fox said, her voice shaking.
