The Great Crayon Color Crisis

Morning Colors
Crayon Mother Cat stretched her orange paws as sunlight streamed through the colorful windows of her fortress. The Art Gallery Zoo was waking up, and she could hear the cheerful chatter of visitors beginning their day.
"Another beautiful morning!" she said, adjusting her black apron over her blue dress. She reached for her giant magic crayon, feeling its familiar weight in her paw.
But something felt different. The crayon seemed lighter than usual, and when she held it up to catch the morning light, it looked... duller somehow.
"That's odd," she murmured, examining the tool that gave her such wonderful powers. The bright colors that usually danced along its surface appeared faded.
A young zebra painter named Zara knocked on her door. "Good morning, Crayon Mother Cat! I was hoping you could help me with my latest painting."
"Of course, dear," she replied, though she couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right with her magical crayon today.
The Fading Garden
Crayon Mother Cat followed Zara the zebra outside, her giant magic crayon feeling heavier with each step. The morning air should have been filled with the usual rainbow of colors from the Art Gallery Zoo, but something was terribly wrong.
"Look!" Zara pointed her black and white striped hoof toward the flower gardens. "The roses were bright red yesterday, but now they're turning gray!"
Crayon Mother Cat's orange ears flattened against her head. She watched in horror as a beautiful butterfly landed on a flower, and within seconds, its wings faded from brilliant yellow to dull silver.
"This can't be happening," she whispered, gripping her magic crayon tighter.
A small sparrow with brown feathers chirped frantically from a nearby branch. "Help us, Crayon Mother Cat! My nest was blue this morning, but now it's losing all its color!"
More animals began gathering around them. A mother fox with her three kits approached, their red fur slowly draining to gray. The fox mother's eyes were filled with worry.
"Everything beautiful is disappearing," the fox said. "If this continues, our whole world will be colorless forever!"
