The Great Hair Day Disaster

Morning Announcements
Melanie pushed her large glasses up her nose as she walked into Miss Genevieve's classroom at Maple Leafs Elementary. The morning sun streamed through the windows, making her messy blonde hair shine golden.
"Good morning, class!" Miss Genevieve called cheerfully. Her smile was extra bright today.
Melanie slipped into her seat next to her best friends Sabrina, Susie, Ryan, and Michael. She pulled out her worn copy of Horrid Henry, but Miss Genevieve clapped her hands.
"I have exciting news today! Tomorrow is our special Haircut Day. Mr. Grey and Miss Lucky will be here with their professional tools to give everyone fresh new looks!"
The girls squealed with delight. Melanie's glasses slipped down as she bounced in her chair.
The Clippers Arrive
But across the room, three boys looked pale. Tyler clutched his desk, his shaggy brown hair covering his eyes. Ethan shook his head fast, making his long curls bounce. Sammy bit his lip.
"I don't want a haircut," Tyler whispered to his friends.
"The clippers make scary buzzing sounds," Ethan said, covering his ears with his hands.
Just then, the classroom door opened. Mr. Grey stepped in, carrying a large black case. His silver hair was perfectly neat. Behind him came Miss Lucky, a cheerful woman with red curls, rolling in a cart full of bottles and brushes.
"Good morning, children!" Miss Lucky called out. "Who's ready for beautiful new haircuts?"
The three boys slid down in their chairs, trying to hide.
