Morning Routine Gone Wild

Buck stretched his arms wide as morning sunlight streamed through the tall windows of Marker Buck Fortress. The four marker towers gleamed like giant crayons against the sky of Canvas Forest Metropolis.

"Another perfect day to help the city!" Buck announced to his reflection in the bathroom mirror. His blue mask sat perfectly over his big expressive eyes, and his red cape hung neatly over his athletic shoulders.

He reached for his giant marker, the one that made all his superhero work possible. The massive writing tool materialized in his furry hand with its usual satisfying weight.

But something felt different.

The marker's tip began glowing brighter than normal, pulsing with an odd rhythm. Buck frowned, his tall antlers tilting as he examined it closely.

"That's weird," he muttered.

He gave the marker a gentle shake. Suddenly, purple sparkles shot from the tip, swirling around the bathroom like tiny fireworks. The sparkles formed the shape of a floating ice cream cone before dissolving into nothing.

When Purple Sparkles Attack

Buck decided to test his marker outside. He flew through his bedroom window, red cape fluttering behind him as he soared over Canvas Forest Metropolis.

"Let me try drawing something simple," he said to himself, hovering above the central plaza.

He aimed his giant marker downward and carefully drew a small flower in the air. Instead of the usual gentle glow, the marker erupted with wild energy. Purple and pink sparkles shot everywhere, and suddenly a massive ice cream mountain materialized in the plaza below.

"What the—" Buck gasped.

The towering vanilla and strawberry swirl was already melting in the morning sun, creating sticky rivers that flowed down the streets. A woman with short dark hair emerged from the nearby laundromat, staring in shock.

"My shoes!" she cried, stepping into the pink goo. "I just bought these!"

More ice cream mountains began popping up randomly across the city—chocolate chip on Main Street, mint green near the park. Buck's marker pulsed with uncontrolled power, creating frozen treats everywhere he pointed it.

Citizens ran from their homes, slipping and sliding through the sugary mess flooding their neighborhoods.
